This year SEC made a Business ZAKAT contribution for 2016 of RM82,444.58 to MUIS Sabah. Dato’ Harun Ismail CEO of Sabah Energy Corporation Sdn. Bhd. presented the ZAKAT cheque to Timbalan Pengerusi MUIS En. Junaidi Jumahad in a ceremony today (21st June 2017) at SEC office, Wisma Bandaraya, Kota Kinabalu.

SEC through its CSR program has donated and contributes to repairs of classroom of SMK Datuk Pengiran Galpam, Sandakan. SEC Chairman Ybhg Datuk Au Kam Wah officiate the event.

Ybhg Dato’ Harun Ismail CEO of SEC state that SEC being the State owned Company is responsible to assist the State Government aspiration to help the society in needs. SMK Datuk Pengiran Galpam is one of many SEC effort in helping the society through its CSR program. Dato’ Harun Ismail hope that with this assistance it will contribute and provides conducive learning environment to the students of SMK Datuk Pengiran Galpam. Dato’ Harun also said that education is vital in producing quality human capital. This echo by Datuk Au Kam Wah Elopura Assemblyman and Chairman of SEC stating that a quality human capital would contribute to the progress of the state and country.
