SEC’s natural gas infrastructure is designed to deliver natural gas with maximum safety, reliability and efficiency. The infrastructure serves potential and existing natural gas users at Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park (KKIP), Kota Kinabalu , Sabah and Ranca-Ranca Industrial Park, Labuan.

Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) via Virtual Pipeline System (VPS)

The Virtual Pipeline System is a proven technology where natural gas is compressed at a Mother Station at SEC’s premises in the KKIP and then transferred into special purpose built containers. The containers are then delivered by truck to the customers’ premises where a Daughter Station will decompress the gas to the customers’ required pressure. The decompressed gas is then fed into the customers’ internal piping system.

Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) via Virtual Pipeline System (VPS)

Natural Gas that is in liquid form is known as Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG). In its liquid form, LNG occupies about 600 times less space than as a gas and this permits a cost-effective ,transportation & storage solutions, LNG returns to its gaseous state for consumption.

Property

SEC properties are located in the both Federal Territory of Labuan and Sabah. The types of properties available for land are houses and newly completed light industrial warehouses. Vacant residential and industrial lands are available for lease and development. Plaza SEC is currently under contruction.
