Natural gas releases the least amount of carbon dioxide of equivalent energy released compared to diesel, Medium fuel oil (MFO) and LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas).
Lower Maintenance and Housekeeping Cost
There is no greasy spillages, soot or ash accumulation on or near natural gas appliances. The equipment maintenance costs and housekeeping are relatively lower and easier compared to diesel, MFO and LPG.
Safe and Easy to Control
Natural gas is easy to detect and controlled at the point of use. Lighter than air, natural gas readily disperses into the atmosphere which ensures the safety of users.
The natural gas pipeline delivery system, which is laid underground, is secure, stable and protected from weather-related disruptions to ensure continuity of supply.
In the CNG and LNG Virtual Pipeline System, the stock levels of gas at the Daughter Station are monitored at the Mother Station using the SCADA system. When the stock levels have reached low levels, fresh stocks of natural gas are delivered by trucks to the Daughter Station where the depleted CNG storage tanks are refilled to ensure uninterrupted supply of gas to the customers.
